Winthrop's D.J. Burns Jr. has entered the transfer portal

On Wednesday, Winthrop F D.J. Burns Jr. entered his name into the transfer portal.

Burns averaged 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists last season for Winthrop. Burns also shot 62.6% from the field. That is the 9th best field goal percentage in the country.

Burns will have many teams interested in him. Will be interesting to see what team will pick him up. Could he go back to where he started? Or will he go somewhere else? We will wait and see.
