Maryland adds Georgetown transfer Donald Carey

On Friday, Former Georgetown G Donald Carey has announced that he will be transferring to Maryland.

Carey, a 6-foot-5 guard out of Upper Marlboro, Maryland averaged 13.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists last season for the Hoyas.

As i said in my article saying he was entering the transfer portal. I said "This has a team like Seton Hall or Maryland written all over this one. I am sure he would want to stay near home."

I was right saying that statement. I did not which one of those teams it would be. It was down to Clemson and Maryland.

Carey is an established 3-point shooter he can score at the rim if he needs too. Carey can definitely help a high-major team.
