Notre Dame adds Niagara transfer Marcus Hammond

On Monday, Niagara transfer G Marcus Hammond has announced that he will be transferring to Notre Dame.

Hammond, a 6-foot-3 guard from Queens, New York averaged 18.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists last season for the Purple Eagles. Hammond also shot 43% from the field and 83.1% free throw line.

Hammond was also considering Rutgers and Kansas State. He picked the right school that best fits the style he plays. Hammond is a great playmaker and he knows when to shoot and when to pass.
