Northern Iowa's AJ Green has entered the transfer portal

On Wednesday, Northern Iowa G AJ Green entered his name into the NBA Draft while entering the transfer portal.

Northern Iowa's MBB account released this on Twitter:

Green said "I will also be entering the transfer portal. This allows me to gather as much information as i can in order to make the best decision for my future. Returning to UNI will remain an option for me as well."

It is likely that he will not return to UNI but we can not say he will not return.

Green averaged 18.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while shooting 38.7% from the three point line and 91.5% from the free throw line this season for the Panthers.

Green is a special player and if he decides to come back to college, he will make a impact on a high major team.
