Miami adds Arkansas State transfer Norchad Omier

On Tuesday, Former Arkansas State F Norchad Omier has announced that he will be transferring to Miami.

Omier, a 6-foot-7 forward out of Bluefields, Nicaragua averaged 17.9 points, 12.2 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 1.6 steals last season for the Red Wolves. Omier also was the Sun Belt Player of the Year and Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year.


Omier chose the Hurricanes over Florida State, Texas Tech, and Georgetown. Omier will join Former Kansas State G Nijel Pack at Miami. Miami has gotten two Top 10 transfers over the last four days. Miami is looking like a great team once again.
