Western Michigan wins the MAC Championship

The other noon conference championship game is between the Miami Ohio Redhawks and the Western Michigan Broncos in the MAC Championship.

Western Michigan starts with the ball and marches down the field and scores a touchdown. That, of course, is thanks to a 67-yard rushing touchdown by Jalen Buckley. The Redhawks respond with a one-yard rushing touchdown (misses the extra point) by Jordan Brunson. A field goal by the Broncos put them up by 4.

The second quarter was full of punting back and forth. Western Michigan would end up getting a 31-yard field goal and a 50-yard field goal to end the half to push the lead to 10.

Western Michigan would get a 64-yard rushing touchdown thanks to Jalen Buckley. This would be the last time the Broncos scored in this game, but it did not matter. Up by 17 heading into the fourth quarter.

Miami Ohio ended up scoring a touchdown in the fourth quarter thanks to a six-yard passing touchdown by Henry Hesson to Cole Weaver.
