Texas Tech dominates BYU in the Big 12 Championship

The first game on this Conference Championship Saturday is between the #11 BYU Cougars and the #4 Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Big 12 Championship.
Texas Tech starts with the ball, but BYU scores first. A 14-play, 90-yard drive is capped off by a 10-yard rushing touchdown by LJ Martin.
Texas Tech takes it from here. Gets a field goal on the next drive and then takes the lead on the next drive thanks to a passing touchdown from Behren Morton to Coy Eakin. One more field goal by the Red Raiders will give them a 6-point lead headed into the half.

Both teams were a little sloppy heading out of halftime. BYU missed a field goal and threw an interception. Texas Tech turned it over on downs. The Red Raiders would be the first team to score out of halftime. A great return by Ben Roberts on the interception set them up at the BYU 11, and Cameron Dickey scores on the next play.
Turnover defines the fourth quarter for BYU. They had a fumble, an interception, and a turnover on downs. The Red Raiders netted two more field goals and a touchdown from Behren Morton to Coy Eakin.

The Red Raiders easily win the Big 12 championship 34-7.
