2023 5-Star Malachi Nelson commits to Oklahoma

On Sunday night, 2023 Los Alamitos, CA 5-Star Quarterback Malachi Nelson announced his commitment to Lincoln Riley and Oklahoma.

Nelson committed to the Sooners over schools like Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M, and USC.

Well we know he is a dual threat that can scramble when needed. I seen a comparison to Justin Fields. That is very close to Nelson. Nelson is a mature quarterback that shows a very high football IQ. His release is super smooth release that makes the ball jump out of his hand. The final topic i will speak on will be is his arm. He has ability to make short, medium, and downfield throws look so easy. Oklahoma will be very happy with him committing to the Sooners.
